Why it's safe to commission here

The rules, in plain words.

Full details

Vetted illustrators

We review each portfolio ourselves. Hand-made work only — no traced, stolen or generated art.

Money held until you approve

You pay when you award. We keep it until you approve the final files — then the illustrator is paid. Asking for a fix or raising a problem keeps it held.

On time, or your money back

Sketch 1 is due within a week of paying; the final by the agreed date plus a week's grace. Miss either and you can cancel for a full refund.

One fee, said plainly

Clients pay the quoted price, nothing added. Illustrators keep 88%; Sketchround keeps 12%.

For illustrators

Stop chasing deposits. Draw for clients who've already paid.

Keep 88%. No buyer fees dragging your price down, no bidding credits, no featured-listing upsells.

Paid before you start. You're told when the client's money is in. Release happens when they approve the final — or automatically 14 days after you deliver it, if they go quiet.

Clear briefs. Budget, date and use are on every brief, and extra rounds beyond your proposal are yours to price.

Bring your own clients. Your commission link lets people who find you on Instagram or by email post a brief straight to you — and pay up front.
